Mr. Rau, has over 20 years of experience as a consultant, practitioner and
thought leader in the information technology field. Areas of expertise
include information technology planning and strategy, performance
measurement, IT marketing, IT governance, organization design, and outsourcing.
He has conducted engagements in these areas for such noteworthy firms as:
AT&T, Ashland Oil, Amgen Pharmaceuticals, Boeing, Bristol-Myers Squibb,
Digital Equipment Corporation, Fujitsu, Kaiser Permanente, Pacific Gas &
Electric and Solectron.
He has developed new technology product and service offerings in these areas
for KPMG, Deloitte & Touch and Nolan, Norton & Co. Most recently he was
responsible for developing The CIO Dashboard service offering and
methodology which combine such techniques as the balanced scorecard, IT
modeling, performance management and the IT value proposition.
Mr. Rau has served
as a Director at KPMG Consulting and LLP, as Director of Consulting for Wang
Laboratories, as a Senior Manager for the Strategic Systems Planning
Practice of Deloitte & Touche, as a Senior Manager of Internal Systems
Consulting for Digital Equipment Company, as Director with the Consulting
firm of Nolan and Norton, and as Director of Information Systems at The
Church & Dwight Company.
Mr. Rau received an M.B.A. degree from the Harvard Graduate School of
Business Administration and two B.S. degrees, one in chemistry and one in
industrial administration from Iowa State University. |

Ron Raumer |

Ronald J. Raumer is the founder of Raumer
& Associates. He has more than eighteen years of professional information
technology experience serving established companies and startups in industry
and government. He has practiced and consulted in more than twenty
countries throughout America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
His areas of expertise are:
- IT Strategic Planning and
Organizational Development - assisting organizations in aligning their
IT function with their business objectives. This includes setting future
IT strategic direction and defining the technology architectures,
processes, organization, staffing and initiatives necessary to implement
the strategy.
- E-Business Strategic Planning
and Architecture - assisting clients combine business strategy and
Internet technologies to create innovative digital strategies and new
business models. This includes designing the business and technology
architectures and the organization necessary for implementation.
- Technology Selection and
Deployment - assisting companies in defining technology requirements,
selecting software packages (e.g. ERP) including hardware, realigning
business processes, and implementing the selected solution.
- Change Management -
assisting companies in improving the organizational performance and
effectiveness of their IT function. This includes performing an
assessment of the IT function, redesigning organizational roles and
responsibilities, re-engineering IT management processes, and developing
IT guiding principles and technology standards.
- Project Management -
providing project management assistance to important projects, providing
turnaround assistance to troubled projects, or serving as interim CIO.
Mr. Raumer has prior consulting
experience with the Groundswell, The Gartner Group, KPMG and Deloitte &
Touche in assisting clients across a wide variety of sectors to develop IT
and e-business strategic plans and architectures. He has also served as CIO
for a high-technology company in Silicon Valley and as software R&D director
for one of the fastest growing software companies in America.
Mr. Raumer is an experienced
instructor who has conducted technology seminars and workshops for client
and consultant staffs. He holds a Bachelors degree from San Francisco State
University and an MBA from the University of San Francisco.

Alan K. Tope |

Mr. Tope is a business process and
project management specialist with significant experience helping numerous
organizations solve complex problems via appropriate IT/IS applications.
He is a founder and CEO of two successful IT product and service companies
and possesses excellent soft skills in managing people, projects and
business relationships.
Representative projects include:

Served as the first CIO of a $500M
rapidly-growing, multi-company conglomerate, providing daily direction of
all in-house IT staff for systems operations, software development and
vendor relations; worked with senior management to establish functional
priorities and performance expectations; established and executed strategy
for hardware and operating system configuration and application software.

Managed and executed several projects in
the areas of software evaluation, selection, acquisition, vendor negotiation
and management and project implementation.
Mr. Tope has served many clients,
including Siemens PT&D, NC State University, Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC,
NC Biotechnology Center and RTI International.
Mr. Tope holds an Associate of Sciences
degree from Schoolcraft College in Michigan, a BS in Mathematics from the
University of Michigan and an MBA in finance from the University of Toledo,

Ed Galloway began
his first consulting practice in 1992 after 20 plus years of Information
Technology management experience. Career highlights include leading a
variety of organizations through IT-drive change at marquee technology
companies such as Alcatel, Data General, Exide Electronics and Lord
Corporation.
Ed's consulting
practice centers on IT planning and leadership coaching. In the past 6
years, a second practice has evolved which focuses on providing Financial
Management consulting to nonprofit organizations.
Ed is past president
of North Carolina SIM International, has taught consulting best practices at
the School of Engineering, North Carolina State University and is a past
member of Who's Who Executive Club World-Wide.
Ed holds a Bachelor
of Science degree from Villanova University and an MBA from the Rochester
Institute of Technology.

Pamela Rau |

Ms. Rau has been a
management consultant, researcher, and manager for over 25 years. She has
provided strategic and technical analyses and recommendations for firms and
organizations including Pacific Bell, Security Pacific Bank, Kodak, U.S.
Navy, and Digital Equipment Corporation, as well as overseas banks and
telecommunications providers.
Ms. Rau's experience
includes managing the Information Systems function for a biotech firm and a
manufacturer. She also provides competitive intelligence information
and analyses for senior management and product managers.
Ms. Rau holds an MBA from Boston
University with concentrations in marketing and finance, and a B.A. from
Michigan State University. |
